1 year program + 1 semester GAS program = 3 Years PGWP?

-So my roommate who happens to have a lot of friends everywhere keeps telling me about this wonderful 4 month General Arts and Science program

which enables a 3 year PGWP after finishing a 1 year diploma

-To be obvious, I have read CIC's say on this which many people will regularly quote

-All I want to know is someone's personal experience(or someone whom you personally know) for whom this has worked rather than any
friendly advise

Hi, heard about this too but haven't seen it first hand....would love to do the GAS course as well....

which is why im unsure about this..everyone agrees because they've heard about some friend's friend and alike!
