Think about the course fees and the living expenses for a two year MBA program. On contrast, a 12 or 12+4 months program would lead you to the same career level, with half expenses and save one full year which obviously you can utilize for doing job post MBA (imagine you'll lose in dollars).
As far as PR is concerned, you'll get it easily based on your Canadian degree (it wont matter 1 or 2 year). If you enroll for 16 month program, you'll have PGWP of 16 months post study completion which is more than enough for you to find a job in Canada.
IMO no need to piss you off with 2 years of study program. Cost of living hurts. If you need any info- reply me.
