Exactly. Diploma is okay for 18 year old just out of high school, not someone who has 7 years experience who already has Bachelor's degree. It looks like you are just trying to immigrate. You should look into a Master's / MBA program
How will a one year diploma (which is a waste of time and money) give you career advancement in Oman? That is what you need to prove that spending tens of thousands of dollars will give you a higher paying job. Why do you need to study public relations in Canada and how does it build on your current job…those are questions you need to answer too.
Diploma is no good. High chance of study permit refusal.
You need to either go for a post graduate diploma or a master's.
1-year course is a scam. You can never get PR after study unless you extend your study permit by 1-year.
Try Ryerson University MBA. Its cheap and immigrant friendly (mostly evening/weekend class).
If you have bachelors in commerce then it may not be for you.
