I echo Raz0r's comment above. Also I would like to add below -I have continous experience from 2011 to 2014 and it was paid of course. The reason why I'm worried is that this experience is not recent. There are 3 messy years which followed and all my long vacations are unpaid.
If you are applying for Express Entry via Federal Skilled Worker program, you need to meet the following standards

1. minimum one year continuous work experience from a NOC type 0, A or B type of jobs IN THE PAST 10 years. Your work experience from 2011 to 2014, should satisfie this criteria, assuming it meets the job type requirement above.
2. You need to take a language test first
3. You need to complete your education assessment (ECA).
With these done/passed, you are eligible to enter into the pool with your other personal details. You will have a CRS (score), which will determine whether you will be invited to apply.
