1+1 year study program = 1 year PGWP

Hi Guys,

Anybody here had taken 1+1 year program ended up getting only 1 year of PGWP? What are the reasons in case you found out already? Can the school or college institutions provide you some guidance/information prior to application ?

Did you apply already for PGWP? I think if you are doing 1+1 program in the same province there is a possibility of awarding you with 3 years of PGWP but I cannot guarantee that as you may have to ask other people who are already in there.

I don't have official information, but I've heard/read that if you start one program just after finishing the other, it would count as a two year program and a three year PGWP would be granted. But as I mentioned, it has to be consecutive semesters.
