1 +1 year Ontario College Graduate Certificate (PGPW in Doubt)

Hi,
I am starting my course in Canada from Septemeber 2nd 2014. I got admitted into interactive media management at Sheridan College and the 1 year program contains 48 credit. Now my question is can I go for another PG Diploma in Marketing from the same college. If yes, once I pass out of two consecutive 1 year program how long will I get my PGWP. Will it be 2 years or 3 years. As a matter of fact my biggest fear is will it still be 1 year? 2 years would be fine for me to apply PR under CEC.

If anyone did two consecutive course can you please help me out. Also, do I have to show funds like GIC again for the next program when I extend my study permit.

Most of the posts related to this topic is dated somewhere around 2012 so I was looking for a current answer. Moreover my biggest doubts are whether (atleast 2 years of PGWP is assured) and requirements for renewing study permit for marketing which is not directly related to my previous study.

Yeah thanks for the info. I just read that but they specifically do not mention whether 1+1 year Ontario College Graduate Certificate will lead to 3 years of PGWP. Is 2 years of PGWP assured?

yeah, you'll get a work permit for 3years
