I am wondering if I can get PGWP for 3 years with my certificates.
I graduated in Pre-health certificate in Centennial College in Aug, 2017, and I will graduate in Early Childhood Education in New Brunswick Community College in Apr, 2019.
These colleges is Designated language institution, so it is possible to get PGWP as well.

However, I am not sure If it is possible to get it for 3YEARS.
I have heard that it is possible for only related programs such as Pre-health and Medical lab technology.
Others also said if there is no relatedness between programs, it would depend on CIC.

According to CIC, there is no any information about program that should be related.

Could I get PGWP for 3 years with these programs (Pre-health certificate for 1 year(Jan, 2017 to Aug, 2017) and ECE certificate for 1year(Sep, 2018 to Apr, 2019) within 2 years of having obtained Pre-health certificate)

It is not necessary for the programs to be related, you are eligible for a three years PGWP if you complete two different one year programs.

However, you have a one year gap between the two programs. Did you work full time off-campus during this time? The following links may be helpful :

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/work/after-graduation/eligibility.html

You aren’t eligible to apply for a PGWP if you:
  • studied for more than eight months but not continuously (for example, you took a semester off)

I graduated in Centennial college in Aug, 2017 and then I came back to my hometown, South Korea.
After coming back to Korea, I got the opportunity for study in Canada again.
I am asking about PGWP after graduating.
If in this situation, is it possible to get PGWP for 3 years?
There is information that it is possible if within 2 years after having obtained the first certificate, isn’t it?

It is my understanding that you will be eligible for a one year PGWP (provided you successfully complete your current program in April 2019) since there was a gap between your programs.

There is information that it is possible if within 2 years after having obtained the first certificate, isn’t it?

I don't see that information anywhere on the CIC website. However, please wait for experienced members like @jes_ON to provide their inputs as well.

You can see that information at the part of Validity.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/temporary-residents/study-permits/post-graduation-work-permit-program.html

There is information that it is possible to get for 3 years if I get the second certificate within 2 years after having obtained the first certificate.

So.. My 1 year gap would be fine or not?
Ok, I see. I think you should be good to get a three year PGWP in this case.

Yes, right.
That word ‘may’ weigh on my mind :(
If you are in this situation, are you gonna study for 2 years more in order to get Diploma?

As you know, since students can get PGWP once in a lifetime, I am hesitated to try to apply for PGWP.
