Yes true, well I was a bit confused, as I have done bachelor's in Geophysics, and I have offer letter of Algoma University for project management PGD, I got graduated in December 2019, so I have no gap issue, but only thing that was making my case weak was background studies, and If I go for fall 2020, they have given deadline of nov 6, after that my fees will not be refunded so its a risky situation, what If I don't get a decision until 6 Nov, plus related study background was also an issue so I will be going for my field related PGD for January intake now.

Like if you dont get your visa approval by nov first week, I would advise you to immediately ask for a deferal or refund.. yes it should be related to your field to make your case stronger
For deferal and withdraw they have given timeline of 23rd September, and for visa decision they have given nov 6 so I might not take the risk and also go for my field related diploma.

adding on to this thread, i hope you can help me. I am currently under 1 year program which will end in March 2023 and plans to do another 8-month program which will start in Sep 2023, please enlighten me with the following:
1. will this qualify under 1+1 and with 3-ye pgwp?
2. should i apply under Student permit extension in March 2023 or as soon as i receive my certificate?
3. these 2 programs will be totally different field of study, any issues in SP application?
Please help, dunno what to do now
