Hey everyone, I've received the temporary AOR (submission confirmation) yesterday. It's a small step, but it's something.

At least they are moving forward

Hi, What do you mean by temporary AOR? Did you got an email of the confirmation from IRCC?

It's a temporary file number, normally they will send an email but not everyone will receive that temporary number.

Yes, it's an email from the IRCC informing they have received the application. They make it clear that the file is not being processed yet and that it is in the queue for review. That email comes with a prospective file number. Once they start processing the application, they will send another email with the "official" file number. With that second e-mail, you will be able to link your application to your account.

Hello, I have a question. If my spouse comes to Canada on TRV, can I immediately apply for Inland Sponsorship + OWP after her landing?

Hey, does anyone know if it's possible to obtain the open work permit for the sponsored spouse through flag poling once the AOR has been received?

Update on my application:
Feb 01, 2022 - Application Received
March 25, 2022 - Received AOR (Didn't receive any temporary file number before)
March 25, 2022 - Medical/Bio pass (had exam within 5 years under temporary policy)

update: Received AOR and medical exam request on mar.17, biometric was done 2 years ago so don't need to do it

I sent the documents in October 2021 but documents got returned in Feb 2022
So I corrected the applications forms and resent attached the missing documents and resent the application forms in March 15th.
first AOR expecting in about 6 weeks from now
