【Haven't heard from CIC after citizenship application for a year?】

Hi everyone,


I have applied for citizenship (now PR for 6 years no leaving country for over four months in total) last summer in 2015 and haven't heard from CIC for a year now. I have not received any email nor letters.
I have checked the canada post delivery status and the document was received successfully long time ago.
I checked all my possible email accounts and spams but still haven't seen any information from CIC.
My sister applied and sent her document at the same time with me and she already got her tests done and everything.

I am wondering if I should re-apply or should I contact CIC?
I am also curious if any outstanding debt to the government will affect the application result? (Revenue Services of BC/ care card. I'm currently a university student which I heard i only have to pay couple hundreds per year but every year they charge me a thousand which I haven't dealed with it yet. I also do not work. All tuition was sent by my parent through an oversea account.)
I will be looking forward and appriciate for replies to my questions.Thank you very much. :)

1) Have you moved? Have you cheked your old mail boxes, your Ecas, etc. ?
2) Get prepared, call cic and kindly ask.
3) Order ATIP/GCMS.

I am very surprised that you have not called the call center for 1 year to find out application status Wow. Please give them a call

My &I have applied for citizenship on Oct17 n received confirmation of receipt on Nov17, later Mar18 fingerprints of my wife was requested and was done immediately also change of address was sent on June and had received a confirmation email that it was done. Till date nothing was received. Can anybody advise. Thks

1. There are quite a few Nov-2017 applicants still waiting for their test invite.
2. You may like to submit a webform enquiry to IRCC.
3. This is a 2-yrs. old thread, pls be part of >this< thread instead.
