Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I'm unlucky with the work permit, I even involved the MP but they can't help at all. Everything else is getting processed, we haven't received AOR, but we got Biometric and medical request,all done but the work permit is being treated like it doesn't exist so...

Congrats! Btw did you applied for open work permit when you submitted the application? If so,did you receive it or they didnt bother to process that?. For me I haven't received my work permit up to now and I think I'll get the PR but not the work permit at all.

I think you should let her get a visitor record when she lands so she can be able to apply for a work permit as well. I must warn you that it might take longer for her to get a work permit but if you're working and have your finances straight then it wont hurt. People have waited for 8 months...

To be honest they are skipping some of us, giving AOR to people who just filed on September like we have waited for months and we got skipped. I saw a lot of people have AOR already for May but still some of us don't have it yet so let's just wait and see if we could be lucky
