After a couple of online complaint forms to IRCC and a handwritten letter to the Vancouver office asking how their oath "queue" actually works my wife is finally invited to take the oath on October 8th. We had contacted a lawyer to start the mandamus process but will not need to continue with...

What is going on here? My wife had her DM on July 8th and was told that she is in the queue for the oath. Is there more than one oath queue at the Vancouver office? Because if there is only one queue (and if it is a functional queue) then she should have her interview invite already based upon...

Vancouver Citizenship Test Invite - Masterthread

My wife had the Decision Made on July 8th. We are still waiting. She emailed IRCC a couple of weeks ago and got a response today from the Vancouver office that it would be 3-6 months after DM. We hope that is not the reality as we were expecting 2-2.5 months after DM and she's been waiting...

The only ones that need to be translated are the ones not in English or French language. Often, stamps that have writing in some other foreign language also contain the equivalent English text. We found that the only stamps that needed to be translated from my wife's passport were from Latin...

Hi rajkamalmohanram, I don't think my wife's case is in your tracker. If you would like to add it the information is in my signature. She's due for the oath but it has not yet been scheduled.

    Citizenship test

My wife used citizenshipsupport.ca and we paid for the package. She used ApnaToronto first and then the paid one. She thought they were quite helpful. She got 20/20 questions correct. You may not need to do these practice tests but it might be worth it for the confidence boost.

My wife just got an interview date for June 9th. She is also required to upload all of the passport pages with any requisite translations. Super fun.

Vancouver Citizenship Test Invite - Masterthread

It's been more than 3 weeks since my wife passed the test and since then no updates. When she emailed the Vancouver a week ago they replied pretty quickly but said that an officer would be reviewing her application. They didn't say when.

    Online citizenship test

Even if you used VPN and passed the test outside Canada you run the risk of them finding out afterward. If your entry/exit record for Canada indicated that you were outside Canada the date you took the test then your citizenship could be revoked. It's not worth the risk in my opinion.

My wife has the exact same status. She emailed IRCC Vancouver today to inquire when her oath ceremony might be scheduled. I'll post an update when she get's a reply. She used this email address that I found in the forum: CIC-Vancouveritinerant@cic.gc.ca. I'm not sure if it's current. We will see.

Online Citizenship Test - what will happen if my Internet connection breaks in the middle of the test?

You might want to find another place to take the test. Maybe you can use a private room at a friend's house or reserve one in a public library. It's not worth the risk.
