If you have CoPR document or information letter, it should work. For me, I only have CoPR document number which is not good enough to apply SIN.

Hi, I'm on the same page with you. If they will send us the PR card directly, until we receive the card, we can't change SIN or get OHIP. I wish they will give us some documents to start working on the benefits first.

The US border provided the document to reject us to enter the US, and sent us back to Canada border, just a paper contains our name and date of birth, since we don't have stamps on our passport. After the bank statement, they want the stamps when entered Canada, so we provided the flagepole doc...
