Hi all.. How do you know that u are issued with a visa without getting the passport back ? Here I see people giving date saying visa issued even before the status on ecas is changed. .

SORRY EVRYONE that was a typing mistake...yeah of course i would go crazy if it take tht much time..but i heard for so many cases it tuk only 3 to 4 mnths for the visa from ND and also only a month from PR..tht's y we are worried..unless they change the procedure or time line this year..i hope...

I got an email from ND saying tht there is enormous amt of application..so mine is waiting 4 the final review?..i donno y the volume is an issue?y r they keeping our PP?...it is 1.5 months tht they hve my pp...

hello evryone i also filed my sponsorship application in november.we sent our PP to ND on jan 15..no news after tht.nyone who filed in nov got their visa yet?...i heard tht it takes only a month to get PP back..so we are kind of worried...

my mailing add was different..i didnt change it at all.so just wait for week or two and then try calling them

Thanx for the reply.. Was urs too a family class sponsorship ?? Why are they holding ur PP so long without any notice ? Did they ask for any more documents ?

Hi everyone I applied for sponship on nov 15 2010.I got approval from mississuage on dec 27.My spouse got a letter from newdelhi on january 13th to submit his passport.he sent on Jan 15 .They started processing on feb 1st.It is been a month tht his passport is in ND.He was in canada for 2 yrs...
