Looks like Toronto area is now faster than Vancouver.. Vancouver is taking too long for even surrender application used to happen in 7-10 days a while back

Yes I created it before the oath only. Though it does not make any difference, my friend was able to download in 3 hrs and he created his account after oath

What date did you submit and when did your status changed? Also try tracking on the passport seva website where you initially filled your application it shows detailed steps where your application is

Considering 7th and 15th as two holidays you are still within the 10 business day timeline, I am in the same situtation applied on 4th aug and its just been 5 business day till today 15th Aug we still have another 5 business days

Did you had to submit original surrender certificate? which zone are you in? looks like Vancouver is only asking Self attested copy of surrender certificate, can you confirm yours

No Proof of travel for oath but if you want next day passport you need to show proof of travel. I had my own written letter explaining I have meeting in Seattle and I am travelling by Car so no flight booking etc

No it can not if all sections are complete it means decision is made and you are already there only legal formality of oath taking is remaining

it Varies by quite a bit depending upon your location, West is much faster like 7-15 days. East is slower at some local offices people are waiting from 2+ months

If you get any request from IRCC including fingerprint the application is consider Non-routine. So yes it might be delayed.

Basically the status is talking about the OCI booklet which is like a passport so that’s ready for collection.
