    QUEBEC APPLICANTS LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE

Thanks again quebec2011. I will still be in Seoul, so for the Federal part of the process, I will be using the Canadian Embassy in Seoul, Korea. So far, they seem to be quick. It looks like 14 months for the Feb2008-Pre June 26 applications. I think that the new system that was introduced last...

    QUEBEC APPLICANTS LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE

Thanks again quebec2011 - awesome info. That time frame for the processing isn't that bad as I plan to teach in Korea while the CSQ and the Federal processes are in play. I think the Embassy in Seoul is pretty quick with PR visas, so once I have the CSQ, it should only take about a year (maybe...

Ahaaa.. Thanks Quebec2011... How would I do an interview from Korea though? I can't leave my job here just to fly to Hong Kong for a 1hour interview.. seems a little silly. Would they do it by phone or Skype? Or even at the Canadian Embassy in Seoul? How long is the process usually for the...

    Reference letters

Thank you Mezo.. you are a life-saver! My immigration lawyer has told me I "must" have an original but I can't get one... I can try to get other testimonials and letters to substantiate from ex-colleagues. And also some old documentation from them that I worked on. Also a testimonial from a...

    Reference letters

Hi all... Please I need some advice. As I know from all the information in the general and my VO specific pack (which is Seoul)...we are to send reference letters from past and current employers. It also states that should we not be able to obtain originals, we can submit handwritten...

    New NOC list

Thanks PMM... My SA Police clearance will be in time but I'll have to get a new one for Korea. That's no problem. Luckily they are issued really quick here...my last one took 10 minutes and then I had it translated and notarized. Thanks again for the info. Maz ;)

Another Quotation from Why I love Vancouver

WOW BCGuy... thanks for sharing this and the other quote. Very inspirational. I must admit, that even though I'm not in Canada yet, I do indeed get teary-eyed when I hear or sing the Anthem. I hope to read this whole book one day. Take care Maz :)

    New NOC list

@PMM... I did not know this. My immigration lawyer did not tell me this and it doesn't mention this in the Seoul VO pack. I'll have to get another one then if this is true.
