    Applied for study permit extension in February. Been almost 4 months that I have not heard back from IRCC yet. Should I be worried? My Student visa and study permit have expired. Got a letter from Ircc saying I have implied status. Anybody else in the same situation?

    I’m a student at York University. I hold a valid study permit. My Social Insurance Number has expired. Will the months I have worked on an expired SIN be as legal? I mean, are there any implications for my employer or on my status?
