I’m pretty sure they just want to see long-term financial stability to be able to care for someone as a sponsor. They will probably ask about your present employment (if you get an interview).

Hi, I have a question about medicals... When the VO sends the medical request is it sent via email and do they send a form to be completed by the panel physician as well?

Hi, yes my file was transferred to South Africa beginning of February and still no request for medical.

Great news! Congratulations!!! I see that the Mississauga VO moves very quickly. My application has been sent to Pretoria, South Africa as of January 30, 2020 and we still have not received a request for medical. I think I’ll go ahead and request the notes too...

Anyone have any updates? I still haven’t received any new information or even the request for medical yet from Pretoria. I know some people waited 5 months for a request for medical. I’m just hoping to hear some good news, from someone :)

Yes, that was definitely an assumption. I don’t believe they would stop processing applications because of coronavirus.
