congratulations on your offer!
you should be able to prove to the visa officer that you have met the condition(s) of your offer before you apply (English proficiency). Also, be conscious of the university's deadline to meet the condition.
Do you have a study gap?
Did you submit a detailed SOP?
What are your prev qualifications and what program did you apply for?
What is your current employment situation?
Your age range?
Concordia University (MEng Civil)
CAQ received: Yes
Date Applied (study permit): 11th July
Intake: Fall 20
Medical Done: No
Biomatric Done: No (VAC closed)
No update since
there's no need for the email as long as the work cert it's not on your document checklist.
it took mine about 2 months after all my docs & refs were submitted
In my opinion you shouldn't bother changing the already submitted SOP, it might complicate things (I doubt you can retract an already submitted doc). Just hope for the best since the changes are minor
I applied on the 22nd of dec, 2019
sent in all my documents and references by the 8th of jan...
"The required documents must be in French or English. Documents in a language other than French or English must be accompanied by a translation signed and certified by a professional translator". That was stated in my personalized checklist when I applied in April
Your profile seems solid and your program of choice shows logical academic progression. However, I noticed that Concordia places emphasis on an applicants statement of purpose. prepare a proper SOP and you're good to go
Btw I got admitted to Meng Civil
In my opinion, have your parent transfer the funds to your account and issue you a gift deed stamped by a court stating that it's solely for your education. With that you can be the main sponsor and your parent, a guarantor
CAQ approved, took about 71 days to complete the entire process.
3 April - Confirmation of payment
4 April - Opening of your file
14 April - Docs delivered by courier
9 June - Acknowledgment of receipt
10 June - Issue of CAQ
That's not completely correct, only paper applications have been suspended. You can still go ahead and apply online and I advice you do so quickly as the visa processing time has increased. Cheers
No.
My documents were delivered on the 14th of April and from my observations, persons that submitted theirs in mid February just received CAQ's last week. I'm honestly expecting mine sometime in June.
when did your docs get delivered?
