Our status change to DM about 2 wks ago and we got no ppr. I got screen shots of the notes from lawyer but it still says background check in process. What does this mean? How long does background check take after DM? LA visa office

This is were the waiting starts - it will be 3-4 months before you hear something. This was the last thing on our application till last so. Likely means file is in que to be review by officer. In my wife's application they said this in April 2019. We just got DM last wk and prearrival. No ppr yet.
