    Spousal Sponsorhip: Certified Translation

Again it depends on your country specific requirements. They specified for me some documents that must have been submitted original version. If they didn’t mention that it has to be original, then you should submit a copy of it, even if it was notarized translation. CIC will let you know when to...

    Spousal Sponsorhip: Certified Translation

It doesn’t have to be Canadian company. But check your country specific requirements if they mentioned about certain translations. For me official documents must’ve been translated by notary office.

    Registering the marriage in Ontario

Normally u will need to bring 2 pieces of ID each, fill the form at the town hall, then schedule a date for a ceremony. Not sure whether maybe u will want to bring divorce papers in case they ask for it. Otherwise, they trust the information u provide. If u misrepresent anything u will be...

    couple questions

I assume that both marriage certificates are identical, so just one should suffice. I'm not sure what her ID card has to do with it. But if she was born before 1996, she can obtain her birth info at China Public Notary. They will provide a translated and notarized document. Your girlfriend...

I think that you can contact ur school (if they helped u with renting an apartment) and ask them what were ur addresses. And if u worked for the same school for the past 7 years it should be easy then.

    sponsoring spouse from China

This should be enough. They’ll translate and officially notarize ur docs. They don’t have certified translation services in mainland, unless u want to do some search on Canadian embassy’s website for a lawyer who can provide u a translation with affidavit etc.

    Signatures

Yes, all forms must be signed by hand. The one form where you can sign electronically you should follow with the handwritten signature next to it. This is if u r applying by mail.

Thank you for the reply. All I need now is to hope that everything is fine. Do you know whether in case of withdrawal I'll get a refund for the rest of processing, so I can apply again or I'll have to pay again? And if all the documents will be returned? Otherwise I don't know why wouldn't be...

I've already submitted my application Inland and selected the option to continue. We didn't think that there are any serious reasons for the Sponsor not get approved or even check if anyone had questions about what Option to choose A or B. Now my paranoia is back... My question is 1) whether I...
