Thanks @sherryl89. I have contacted my lawyer, buy shs says I just have to wait. I came here but my family is still back home. They didn't have a visa when I ran away. I'm from Cameroon. My job is seeing if they can help me in anyway that's why they are asking if they offer my wife employment...

I am still waiting for a hearing date (15 months already)

If my wife (back at my home country) has a job offer in Canada, will that help speed up any of the processes?

Thanks for your response guys..I guess it might help to request a transfer of my case to oTtawa. Now, will that put me in the new queue in Ottawa or will the system take into account that my case is already 14 months in the system? Any ideas?
