Hey I am in similar situation, I was refused of my study permit extension. However, I already graduated during that waiting period. They refused me because my CAQ was expired when they deal with my files. However, when I was applying, my CAQ is still valid for 4 months. It was only expired...

I get notification, and I checked and found it was refused. Mine was due to CAQ. In fact based on normal processing time, I do not need new CAQ as I already graduated during the waiting period. Good luck to yours. I applied on Aug 18 and get notification on Dec 5, so you would perhaps know yours...

Mine was refused as they said my CAQ (needed in Quebec) was expired. But in fact they take 3 and half months to process my SP extension, and my CAQ was expired during their long processing time... (CAQ just expired 5 days)... I only need just several days to go to the border to replace my PGWP...

So you still only went to the border when you got your extension (is it possible to get the extension and PGWP at the border at the same time)? May I know how long it takes you finally. It is 3.5 months already for me... I see many people who submitted files after me got approved already, but...

Same here. Applied SP extension on Aug 18, 2018, graduated on Oct 5, and SP expired on Oct 10. I am waiting SP extension because I need to get my PGWP... and start my new position.. hope in the coming few days will got our permit.

Congrat! I still didn't get mine yet (applied Aug 18). What "consultant" you mean? Do you mean submitting webform? How they can see the status of your file. I am really frustrated. I will submit my CAQ today, just in case they do not give me enough time...

Mine no update yet (SP extension, applied Aug 18, 2018). One guy applied SP extension on Sept 6, and got approved Oct 29. Another guy said he got approved within one month (Around October). So if like what they said only SP extension for July and Aug are affected, then perhaps yours will be...

I don't know how SP extension works? I know two guys in my same University, both applied SP in either September or October, both already got their approval.

Study permit with a work permit? You mean on campus work permit, or off campus work permit? For us, the University provides on campus work permit by providing us letter indicating how many hours we can work on campus (thus no need to apply this from CIC).

I applied Aug 18, and I just check, no change... Now the thing is postal Canada is in Strike... any idea how many days would receive the paper doc after approve? Will update once mine has any info your ref.
