    Expired Temporary PR Papers

My husband's application is complete and he landed in Canada on March 13th and received his PR papers. He was told he would receive a card in the mail within 3 months. That time has passed and so has the expiry date on his papers. I am assuming, due to COVID that the expiry date is not a...

***KINGSTON, JAMAICA **New Application**(as of Dec 7, 2016)***

I tried to check the application status yesterday and it wasn't working. I tried again today and received an "Error 502" message. Anyone know if the system is down? My husband is waiting this process out in Jamaica. Will his interview be held there or will in be done in Canada upon arrival?

***KINGSTON, JAMAICA **New Application**(as of Dec 7, 2016)***

Our application was received April 1, 2019. You're not alone in feeling stressed. Apparently some decisions have recently been made for applications filed in February and March. It's a long and difficult wait.

Out of Country Application - Jamaica

***KINGSTON, JAMAICA **New Application**(as of Dec 7, 2016)***

    Non-Accomanying Dependent Question (March 2019)

My husband has 2 natural children and 1 step-daughter. They are all listed on his application as dependents, but will not be accompanying. The plan is to bring the children in the future when they are older. The step-daughter will not be coming to Canada at all. We have the birth certificates...

    Generic Application Form

Thank you for the quick response. I understand that they are listed for the possibility of them coming to Canada in the future. Hypothetically speaking, are we able to exclude them on the Application (but listed on the Additional Family Information form)? I understand that there would then be...

    Generic Application Form

There is no formal custody arrangement, but while he is working in Canada, yes, she has sole custody. To clarify, we would list the children in the Additional Family Information (Form 5406), but was wondering if we are obligated to include them as "non-accompanying" on the Application.

    Generic Application Form

We are having great difficulty in obtaining complete birth certificates for 2 of my husband's children as they do not list him as the father and their mother is not being overly cooperative. Can we list only the names of the children that we have complete information for? (I understand this...
