It took 3 months for my application to show up on eCAS. UCI should work. You can only see on eCAS if you submit paper application (not online).

No, background check is criminality and info sharing. Medical and security are stage 2. Background and eligibility are stage 1.

Unlikely, security is stage 2. You can order GCMS notes and you will usuallly see security not started until eligibility is passed.

Security is after eligibility pass (AIP). If eligibility is failed (Refusal), security check will be cancelled.
