You could send a webform inquiry to ask or just wait it out. When did you apply? We had a ghost update in November and we asked LVO - they said file progressed to next stage of background checks. So up to you what you want to do We had 3 ghost updates for TRV application for which we waited...

That's ghost update which is good news. Either something major completed or started on the application.

Still waiting for final decision...got biometrics correspondence letter today so hopefully will know soon if the ghost updates were worth the excitement. I believe spousal/PR background is more extensive.

Got correspondence letter today for biometrics again which we submitted in March...Hopefully will get final decision soon. We have had 3 ghost updates so hoping for the best.

No too soon i think...they started the background check in October so only 2 months in so far. Everyone is saying 6 months average is wait time...fingers crossed that its leas than that.

Similar situation - applied Oct 28 - 3 ghost updates so far. I am not sure if it means anything until we have a final decision but whatever i read online indicates ghost updates are positive. Fingers crossed!
