Okay, so what would your suggestion be? Is it the right way to go about this- by applying for a tourist permit and just waiting for it all to work out? I'm just trying to figure out if there is another way I can help myself.

It states on the website that one is eligible to apply for a BOWP if their current work permit expires in 4 months or less. I mean a whole new work permit when i say "initial" since I cannot extend my PGWP
