You'll probably hear something late next week or early the week after. The only way to deal with it is to forget about your application for a few weeks. It will happen the way it happens regardless of whether you worry about it or not. Worrying does not speed up your application, so why bother...

No, expect your AoR in the last week of Nov or the first week of Dec.

I think 2 months is a huge overestimate. I think you should get it a card sent message this week or the next unless there is some unique issue with your app. The worst part is waiting for an AoR as you don’t know what is going on, you are past that at least.

I think you can pretty accurately actually based on recent trends (which is why a lot of us are here). Sometimes they pick up a parcel out of the pile which makes no sense but it’s generally OK.

Highly likely it was sent as urgent. I got my AoR last week and I was x August received. Close to impossible they worked through to 23rd August that quickly unless it was urgent. Rough overview of when to expect an AoR just from observing previous timeframes x August = should have received it...

Finally, received my AoR and was able to link my application to my account. Strangely, I still don't see anything on ECAS but can view my application in my account.

They should either change the term "processing time" to "application pick up time" or give an accurate time for how long it takes to process an application up to the day the card gets sent out. (you know, actual processing). I suspect they don't do the former or latter because the time it takes...

What he said was inaccurate. Usually nothing shows until your application has been picked up and in process. I have the same timeline as you and can also see nothing.

Totally ridiculous that it takes 3 months to simply acknowledge an application has been received. Today, there was an article in a UK newspaper where an immigrant complained they hadn't heard from the Home Office in 3 weeks. Well old boy, try doing your paper work in Canada. Absolutely abysmal...

They won't even touch your application or keep a note if you tell them before your application isn't in process. It will take 3 months for them to pick up your application.

I have no idea, but what you wrote isn't accurate if you wrote June 2013 and weren't PR status then. It should start from whenever you got your PR if it's less than 5 years. You can write to them and clarify when your application is received.

Nice. That's not too bad. The processing time seems to finally be going down.. (it was 120 days not too long ago). Hopefully this 3-4 month wait for an AoR is going to get better now.
