Has there been any movement by IRCC Ottawa ? I had my first oath scheduled in October 2019 but it was colliding with a business trip of mine so now I am waiting for my final notice.

I would say that if your travel plan can be post-poned, just do that. In my case, my business trip is something that I am required to attend so it's a non-negotiable unfortunately. I sent an email to CIC already, I hope they haven't already scheduled ceremonies for late October or early November.

Me too, same boat. I've seen some January 2019 applicants go through oath so it just shows that it's a little random. Just hoping to see some movement soon.

Nothing here, I got DM on July 13th but was told that oath would be scheduled in October. Given oath ceremony is typically scheduled 1 month after oath email, it's looking consistent with the officer's prediction.

Yeah I just want to get oath first, then I can see what's the best course of action. It's just that in the event where oath were to be close to the dates where I am traveling (e.g. less than 10 days from a scheduled travel), then I would like to know how things go.

Nice~ Congratulations :D I just checked IRCC's page about citizenship ceremonies. They don't list August 23rd or August 30th for some reason. Instead they list October 11th... So weird.

I hope they don't schedule me on August 30th, I am traveling for an industrial conference for work on that week (those are set months ahead of time). Let's see how it goes.

December applicant from Ottawa here, no updates on my end. I am actually keeping an eye on your updates as well as PhdStream's haha. Like I mentioned elsewhere, I was told by my interviewer that oath will be scheduled in October, so I am not expecting movement until it's closer to October.

Pretty sure that once you get Decision Made on ecas, you're set for Oath ceremony. You are essentially epsilon away from the end.
