If they switched to monthly they would have to up their number of ITAs per draw otherwise they will never reach their target. I don't think they will change it, it's been bi-weekly for the last few years and working fine *touch wood* :)
No that's correct. My husband (30 at the time) had 436 with 4yr degree, 3+ years work experience and maxed ielts. 5 points less than you because we had hit 30. I have diploma so working on a degree so I become lead applicant and we gain more points.
Unless you are really really lucky and work in something niche that they can't get over there, then yeah it appears that way.
That's just in my experience though and what I've seen.
My husband has had loads of interest but they always end with, come back to us when you have PR.
He even had an interview two weeks ago with a US company who headhunted him, who were expanding to Canada but once they realised how much hassle it was to do an LMIA they decided to opt with using...
Dropped to 431 today, i hate being in my 30s! Hopefully will receive a pass in my second qualification in 3wks though, then it's onwards and upwards!! :)
Out of interest, how long from the date you submitted on the nomination portal did it take for you to receive a yes and ur nomination confirmation please?
Thanks
The tiebreaker only applies to candidates sitting at the cut off number, everyone above that number will get an ITA. Hence the last draw, everyone 458+ will have got an ITA and then anyone at 457 who entered the pool before the tiebreaker date will have got one.
Yeah but you have 45 days to complete ONIP, so a lot of them would have held out for a direct ITA and will now reject the nomination. Even if you get a nomination you are still live in the pool.
I agree, go with what WES says. My husband has a regular degree with honours and WES said it was a 4 yr degree, but it's still just a degree, not a masters. Same with ACCA, it's considered a masters here but WES state 4 yr degree only.
Regarding PNP. When you get an ITA your score gets frozen yes? So if you then have a birthday it won't affect your ITA. What happens with a PNP, does your score also get frozen? For examples if Ontario dish out to people 435-439, there is a chance we could get one but on March 27th we lose 5...
So if the draw is on Wed at say 444+/- 1, all those picked are going to reject their onip's...can we expect another onip draw soon with them delving a bit into the lower scores...? (Sitting at 436 till I complete my second qualification, maxed CRS)
