    Yes, the merely increased the threshold from ~7,000 CAD per year to ~19,000 per year. They are still discriminating people with disabilities.

    Came across this petition to repeal Section 38(1)(c) of the IRPA, the medical inadmissibility policy due to excessive demand. Petition is supported by MP Jenny Kwan, a NDP critic for immigration issues and policy. Not sure why this policy still exists in Canada, but it is time to change...
