My husband got his PPR today!

Usually GCkey updates a lot faster than ECAS does. It takes a few extra days for it to be reflected on ECAS, or it did for as at least.

our last update was on March 7th when my husband passed the medical exam. be hopeful! it will come soon!

Finally! After almost 4 months of silence we got the pre arrival letter. We're hoping that the PPR comes in this week. On ECAS it's already been updated from "in process" to "decision made". Sending in additional documents without them asking for it really put a move on the application.

Bangladesh

I'm not sure. When I submitted the application, I paid all the fees up front and had to pay the biometrics fee as well. My husband never provided biometrics for whatever reason so that may have been a reason he had to do it.

A lot of people in the same boat as us (very similar timelines and same VO) sent in additional documents without them asking for it and they got their PPR a week later. I was also told that the SGVO needs a little push to get the process started otherwise they just leave it sitting with no progress.

I hope this isn't the case. Our GCkey was updated today saying we passed the medical exam. I guess now the real waiting begins if they just start to process the application. I'm hoping it's done within the next couple months. Good luck with your application!

We're hitting our 6 month mark soon. I'm worried because it doesn't show on GCkey or ECAS that medicals have been passed. It's been 6 days since we did the medical exam and still no update. Our lawyer told us that it shouldn't take more than 8 months for the whole processing to be complete and...

Wow thats amazing! The clinic said that it would take 2 business days to update so hopefully it will update soon. Our GCkey hasn't updated yet. I seen for other applicants that they get PPR not too long after their MR but I'm not sure how efficient Singapore VO is.
