Helped my wife apply at the end of April 2018. She recieved copr about a month ago. I'm now in Thailand with her helping her pack. Our flight is tonight back to Canada. Any advice on the landing process? Hope everyone else has good luck and your applications go through.

So after waiting 2 months and no word after ppr. My wife has been requested to come in for a personal interview. Strange that it's an interview after the ppr. Not exactly sure what they'll ask her. Anyone else experience this? My wife's outland application from Thailand. Visa office is Singapore.

My wife is from Thailand, her visa office is Singapore. She got her ppr 2 months ago and submitted it via VFS global September 5th. We waited this long and no word until today. My wife got a call from embassy of Canada in Bangkok saying she requires an interview. Here is what the email says...

Like I said in my post. My wife submitted her passport to VFS 2 months ago and still no change. I think everyone is different. It's very strange the way they do things. But it's only been 7 months since we applied. I think we are way farther along in the process than I expected at this point.

Submitted passport september.5 at VFS Bangkok. Passport recieved at high commission singapore office sept.10. still no update. Sent several emails and nothing yet. Still says "processing background check". 2 months and no copr or update on our file. Should we be worried?

Yes I've emailed them several times and no reposonse. The other odd thing is, my wife recieved a call from Singapore high commission 4 days after they received her passport there. My wife's English isn't good so she said she didn't understand. They told her they will get someone from Thailand to...

But the unusual thing is that they already requested the passport and received it but didn't update her status. Waiting on status change and copr. Hopefully soon.

Is it normal to have to wait more than 2 months for copr? Application status hasn't changed yet. Still says processing background check and reviewing eligibility. My wife is outbound spousal application from Thailand and her visa office is Singapore. I've now seen other people submit passports...

Ok so we are willing to try contact him and get proof, but he doesn't speak or write a word of English. I'm assuming the proof would have to be translated to English.
