If Im getting the papers from the court, Can I start the PR application process for my son if I'm outside Canada?

I was asking about the custody paper from court. His father is not giving the consent.

What all things should I include in the custody paper of my son that permits me to obtain a PR for him? Will this custody paper enough for his international travel? Sometimes the other party will be given visitation rights, like once in an year to see the child. Will this be a problem?
