You do not need to withdraw your I-140. I still work for the same employer that sponsored my I-140 (still valid) and was able to get B1/B2 without any issues. You'll be fine if you have a genuine reason for business/visitor travel.

Yes, i requested only 6 months. But, the approval was given for 90 days extra (9 months in total). However, the approval also mentions that we need to submit medicals within 90 days.

More than what i requested for. I had only requested until Jan 31 when i applied in July. But, the approval has nothing to do with it. The approval was given for 90 days from approval date.
