I recently contacted MP office and the only thing they told me that CIC will contact for medicals. Not sure how far it is true. Anyways the whole process/time CIC is taking for CEC applicants is insane.

Did they ask you to get one? Reason being I am in same boat. My meds got invalid and haven't been asked for a new one.

Rest their were no issue with points or my job experience letters. When I relocated with my spouse, I raised CEC and sent all docs to provide evidence...

Yes!!! Raised CSE, contacted CPC Ottawa and ordered GCMS (more than 40 days). No update yet! I haven't been asked any additional documents since July 3.
