Just wanted to give an update to everyone. I received my PR and immediately applied for OHIP. So far any testing/treatment that is sickle cell related has been covered under OHIP and I haven't had to pay anything myself. I hope this helps someone

Hi, i was just wondering how you knew that your medical was sent to IMM. I did my medical on May 3rd but there is no update as to whether I passed.

I would say give it another week before you worry. There were a lot of people that submitted after me and got AOR 2 weeks before me and I was very confused and worried at first. But a few weeks later I got mine.

Hi CIC received mine May 7th 2018 and I got AOR July 20th 2018

People whose applications were received in May are just getting their AOR today so you won't be getting yours for a bit...

I know the feeling, when I saw people that applied 3 weeks after me get their AOR 2 weeks before me I was pissed! It seems like they've slowed down the AOR processing times. Im sure you'll get yours soon

Application received May 7th 2018 Still waiting for AOR as well. By my calculations we should get AOR by the end of next week maybe? Please let me know when you receive yours.

Hey Andrea21, From what I've seen on this thread with other PhD students it takes around 3 weeks (21 days) for persons in the PhD stream to move from DIP to approved. The good news is that DIP is the final stage so you're almost there! Good luck!
