oh okay. my suggestion would be to send it during Ottawa business hours. I once observed that i did not get a confirmation as well during close of business hours. Not sure if that's the reason, but just a suggestion.

I believe the confirmation email is simply acknowledge receipt of your email which would be an automated response email. Thereafter, they'll then send a response. From my own experience, I have sent two emails to Ottawa and i got a response back within 3 to 5 days. London office seems quite the...

Thanks Johnsyk. meant criminality and eligibility are done are CIO level. Though in my own case, i noticed some security checks were done at CIO, maybe cause i studied and lived in Canada.

My 2cents: London would be the primary office but the processing of the application will begin at the centralized intake office in Canada. The fact that you live in UAE doesn't mean it would be processed in UAE. Applications are sometimes transferred to a different VO due to workload...
