Thank you for the detailed note, did you surrender your passport after coming back to canada ? In other words did they ask for a surrender certificate while at IndiAn immigration or at any other stage of your journey when you went on e-visa ?

Update for anyone following this thread !! Finally got the oath email, i called the contact center and looks like their message worked. One more thing i was surprised to know is that my oath is being handled by Calgary ! 29th may, 5:30 PM central

No Email yet, I sent two emails one to Test and one to Ceremonies email, and no one responded ! :(

I called BLS and they told me surrender certificate takes 6 weeks ! you may try calling and check too to see if they are consistent with their answers. e-visa usually takes 24-72 hours

That’s true we see it online, but i called passport seva india, consulate of n toronto, evisa ppl none of them are confirming that. No one seems to know about it

Its costing me atleast 10k i just came to india a week ago. I don’t mind losing money if it’s going to finally give me peace !! No plans of rescheduling either
