Dears As per definition of Counterfoil document, "If your document expired, it means you can no longer use it to enter or stay in Canada." Does it means that we have to enter in Canada 3 or 4 months before the expiry to receive PR card? Or does it not matter if we enter just a day before expiry...

I raised inquiry on 14Oct, and on 17Oct they replied that my application is being processed in Ottawa. Before it was being processed at London VO since 31th March. I don't know when it was transferred back to Ottawa. What that means? At what stage my application is in and what to expect next?
