It depends case by case. My case its been more than 2 months from day it went in progress. Some people it toom just 1 month.

I hope it will be faster here forward cuz 2011 cases seems to be benched for month of January. There was hardly any activity. Hopefully they will start picking up our files.

It is probably diffrent per visa office and case by case. One person i know had same visa office as me had background check done in month and in my case already 2 months gone no change.

Medical/pcc done in aug. Showing in background check for 6 weeks

Hi Rrasoda, when i was linking my application the number worked was total people in application. So it was me + my wife + my kids + total number of people i sponsecered ( parents + dependent child) Hopefully it will work for you. Best of luck

I received medical request very next day after i received pcc, travel history and background declaration letter ( this was the first letter i received from new delhi visa office. There was no seprate email sent that file has been transferred) Medical letter stated that medical must be done...

My file is few days ahead of you. I received letter from delhi for pcc (same letter you got) but i received letter for medical next day. So you should have received by now. They give you 30 days to complete medical. You should check if your letter is lost in communication.
