Hi. We did the landing at Complex Guy Favreau, 200 Rene Levesque Ouest. But normally it`s St Antoine. The invitation came from St Antoine office but we were invited to the other office. I think this office is normally for citizenship.

We have had Decision Made on both sides since July 13th. Still waiting for landing appointment. SA was received as well on July 17th. I don`t know where you are but I am in Montreal, so, it`s pretty busy here. I knew I was gonna wait for a long time

When I moved to Montreal I changed my DL and of course right away tried to get the health card. They said NO! You must have a work permit that you obtained by being sponsored by a Quebec company. I wasn`t sponsored by anyone. I just had my open work permit. That`s another thing I am looking...

In QC, they don`t issue a health card for OWP holders. That was disappointing to find out when I moved from Ontario. All those years I had a health card since I had a full time job in Ottawa, ON. Different rules in QC. C`est la vie.

Here is another topic of discussion. You know we have these Haitian refugees in Montreal now (thanks to Mr Trump). Montreal immigration people are really working on this issue. Do you think it would have any impact on landing appointments? Or this case would be taken care of completely...

Nowadays you never know my friend. In one day you may receive DM and landing invitation or you might just wait. Tomorrow it`s gonna be 4 weeks since I had DM on ECAS for both sponsor and the applicant. Still waiting. Hard to tell. Also depends on your landing office. I am in Montreal so...busy...

As I said, I have been waiting since July 13th (DM on ECAS) for the landing invitation. SA letter received, DM letter not yet.

Out of curiosity... anyone (who got DM on ECAS both sides) from QC waiting for landing letter. Tomorrow I am gonna turn 3 weeks since DM on ECAS. Patience in force :p
