It looks like a standard date. I have it in my sponsor's application as well. I never applied for any visa or anything.

I was told it's the date from when the visa office receives the application. The CIC website does say from date application is submitted. If I go by CIC website, mine is over normal processing time.

They are quick in responding back. They usually respond back within a week. However, it's all standard response. Try sending them a case inquiry.

Maybe we should all write a letter to immigration. I don't understand the delay. They asked me for additional documents in July and I submitted everything by August 2016 and yet I heard nothing from them. Though the file was transferred to Vienna in Feb 17 2016. I assume they may get back to me...

Yes, it's insane. I have a 20 months old plus I am pregnant and it just seems like they don't care about my situation. My husband's medical is expiring on 17-Feb-17 so I hope by then I hear something. And certainly it affects the relationship by this slowness.

Vienna received my husband's application last year in March 2016 and still waiting for the final answer. Every month I send a case inquiry, I get the same reply that it's under review.

Not sure what it means but I see the same for my husband. Validity date says 24-Nov-2016, due date is 12-Feb-2017.

Hi, I sponsored my husband from Netherlands in Dec 2015. His VO is Vienna. The processing time for Netherlands says 12 months and Vienna 15 months. Does his application processing time is considered as per Netherlands or Vienna?

Just to add that we also wrote in affidavit that if the attachments are not satisfactory then to look at our application based on H & C grounds since a child is involved.
