We'll likely be coming up through Coutts but seem to keep hearing of not-so-great experiences there.. nice to see something positive :) Anyone else experience this crossing or have any suggestions for other good crossings into Alberta? Kingsgate adds quite a few hours to our already lengthy trip.

I would definitely recommend applying outland as opposed to inland. Someone with inland experience can correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to take a heck of a lot longer to process. We applied outland in March and received our approval today, just waiting on landing papers. My husband's coming...

Received a document request today... absolutely sent the document with the original package (it was at the top of our list - marriage certificate) :(. Sending it off to Ottawa and still have fingers crossed for a quick process time.

Our status still showed "In Process" after we got the email indicating Sponsor Approval. Wouldn't worry too much about it.

I assume email.. but don't know for sure as they didn't ask us for anything else. They remind you that you need to send in a medical if you haven't already, and also mention the Right of PR fee. There's also a section saying that if you need to submit additional information, email it to the visa...

PA side still says "In Process", but we got the official email. The system itself might get updated on Tuesday maybe? Good luck, SadButTrue! We literally just received it a few minutes ago.

I stand corrected, we just received our Sponsor Approval (via email)! Application forwarded to Ottawa.

Can also see Sponsor side in ECAS now. Still no SA. We received your application to sponsor on May 12, 2016. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on June 2, 2016. We started processing your application on June 1, 2016.
