Thanks for sharing. Could you please share the date you applied? Was it under skills immigration IPG category? One day is really fast. I heard similar stories and that's why I am just concerned my status still appears as "applied".

Did you tried to contact faculty of graduate studies for application status? If it is MASc why don't you drop a mail to professor whom you have talked to already. I guess MASc is all about impressing profs, if you can, admission is just a formality.
