Does anyone know if it's possible to land to activate your PR, and then come back at a later date (without having received the PR card) if you are from a visa-exempt country? I'm British and hoping it might be possible to land for a vacation before my COPR expires, return to the UK to continue...

Sept 9th, got a "confirm you address" email back on May 11, which I replied to the same day. I just got another one of the same "confirm your address" email, but with a different agent's details attached to it... nothing else in the meantime. Agent on the phone said local office would get in...

I applied after working on PGWP, but under the old system - it sounds like you are asking about the new Express Entry. Timeline in case it's of any help: Applied Sept 9th 2014 after getting just under 2 years' work experience AOR February 2015, Decision Made May 8 2016.

I'm in the same boat, Sept 9th and no updates since I sent additional documents over a month ago -- it seems random at this point who gets processed and when as they aren't going by date order. I got the same line as you, that no decision was made yet and they were still reviewing the documents...
