Hi everyone!! I have a question regardin eTA... So I am sponsoring my husband who has already received his passport with the stamped visa. He is Brazilian. I read on the Canada.ca website that he does not need an eTA but I am still not convinced...it says that the stamped visa on his passport...

Hi Preet I received AOR2 on april, 16th...so it took almost 5 months for the PR part of the process. My family and I are outside Canada.

Great...I can't believe it... :( :( The thing is....what if those 10 months are for people who have recently applied as we have applied in february?? I wonder because it makes absolutely no sense having our apps since february at the SPVO and they keep changing the processing times. What happens...

Yeah...I hear ya!!! I'll give it a few more days and will definitelu think about it. Thanks for the advice! We live in Guarulhos about 10 minutes from the airport and we'll be living in Mississauga. Keep us posted as our applications are very close!!!

No, but I did email them some time back asking about any missing document. They replied by saying they would contact us should anything be missing from the application. They also said not to contact them until the end of september. I sbmitted new PCC's in June. I just find it hard to accept...

Hi nsjk16!! I'm a February applicant from SPVO and I too am still waiting. Isubmitted my husband's pcc in June and after that...nothing. We are at the 6th month waiting and going slightly crazy!!! Did you submit anything? Were you able to link mycic to ecas?

Hi!! I noticed that from your app. file to passport request it was almost exactly 6 months which is a very good sign...for me anyway. However in mycic account page it states that they haven1 t started bkg check yet....Do you think they haven't updated it yet or maybe it just towards the end of...

Hi!! From what I know it's approximately 9 months but that is supposed to the max time and doesn't usually take that long.

Hi! All I did to link my app to mycic was put my husband's details (app number and family name), left the passport info blank and put 2 in the number of applicants (which is you, the PA and the sponsor). That should work. As for my application...I'm pretty bummed out because, well... -1st SPVO...

Yup!!... They requested that from me too!!! My husband delivered that personally in SP on june 17th...it has benn over a month and no more news from them... just waiting!!!
