They asked me specifically for most of my wife's original documents include birth certificate, marriage certificate, education documents, etc. I really need these back and I even went to the MP and he requested them twice, and we still have not received them. I am scared that they lost them.

Hi Emily, Wondering if you had any success in getting your original documents back, and if so, how long it took. I have been waiting over 5 months for mine and CIC keeps ignoring my e-mails... :(
