Thanks Deccan. I'm going to India for about a month. I believe they give anywhere from 30 -60 days to submit your passport but if anyone here could confirm that timeline it would be great ?

Oh okay.. So I'm in Canada right now but shall be leaving for India end of this month..Is it possible to get my PR visa from a visa office in India or am i suppose to get back to Canada and get it from here? Any ideas Thanks

So i got a ghost email on Oct 15 with no visual updates to mycic and later that day ecas went into Decisin Made which were In process since Mid August.. Do they request Schedule A from everyone or have some people seen exceptions to that before? I'm a May 22 Aorer.

Hey ajit n myran I dont check mycic that often but as of an hour ago its In Progress and have always been In progress ever since i have checked mycic.. they are surely working on pushing the May applications. Did you get requested any additional docs or ghost emails or anything?

I just received an email from cic saying your application has been updated. Logged into mycic the application status says updated but no changes inside whatsoever. Ecas still in process .. any ideas? Is this the ghost mail people often talk about ? I'm May 22 Aorer from April 17 draw.

My Ecas has changed from 4 lines to 6 lines ..the two new lines are about two stages in the process so far that were not mentioned in the ecas before. Definite movement for May FSW inlanders this last week of September hopefully.. My AOR May 22 and I'm FSW inland.

LOL.. I'm on the same boat as you ...i had submitted the requested document a week after the request and i dont check ECAS too often but the last time i checked that same goofy line such as yours was staring at me too..and it sure puts you through the trouble of signing into your mycic and...

See if you can get your employer to mention your employment duration as one year you will be fine or just explain the 12th month as vacation or something

You could try compressing the file . There are bunch of free websites that would do that for free. Works like a charm !!

So if there is a large deposit in your account at the time of yoyr application and that deposit sits there all the way up till cic decides to request old statements and stuff.. is that okay? I mean that sure tells them the money is still there n infact is account holder's.

You are absolutely eligible ..its the hours the count first .. you can always prove those with your paystubs. . But since you're almost 11 months there try to make it up to 12..but 11 months doesn't sound like an issue as long as you have 1560 hrs of paid work.

No I'm on a post graduation work permit ..so its an open permit
