Is there an amount you need to have for proof of funds? My account is poorer than when I started my PR process. Lol

Can those who recently landed share their experience? In particular, did you flagpole or leave and come back, and were you asked for any specific documents? Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't do this if I were you. This is basically lying. If you are crossing the border for the purpose of returning to land as a permanent resident, just say that. No need to make up stories. There should be no negative implications of flagpoling and getting the refusal slip. I did it once...

I agree. My PP was supposed to arrive yesterday (Dec 31) but the tracking shows still in transit. I now expect it won't arrive until Monday Jan 4.

Just wondering what everyone's plans are immediately after getting PR? Will you celebrate by doing something crazy? Skydiving? Traveling to visit someone? Take some personal vacation time off? Let's see what everyone's ideas are!

Do we need valid visa when we get PPR? Or does CIC give you a visa when you send them your passport? Anyone know? I am FSW inland but my visa is expired.

I got the results the same day. It was a printout, and no fingerprints were taken.

Latest score. It is very explicit. If your score goes down and you don't declare it, I think they might consider it misrepresentation. Retaking it can definitely be risky, but also very rewarding if you can get CLB 9s across all categories (you can get bonus points if I remember correctly).
